Renas App Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 12, 2026
This policy describes the early Renas TestFlight MVP. Renas is a social habit consistency app for small friend groups.
Information we collect
Renas may collect the following information when you use the app:
- Account information, such as your email address, display name, username, and authentication identifiers.
- Profile and social information, such as friends, friend requests, friend streak invitations, and reactions.
- Habit information, such as habit names, visibility settings, completions, streak summaries, and generated feed activity.
- Technical information, such as device, app, crash, diagnostics, and usage analytics data when those services are enabled.
- Support information you choose to send by email.
How we use information
We use information to operate and improve Renas, including to:
- Create and maintain your account.
- Show your habits, completions, streaks, friend streaks, feed activity, and reactions.
- Respect your habit visibility choices and other privacy controls.
- Help friends find each other by username and manage friend requests.
- Provide local daily reminders if you enable them.
- Understand app usage, diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and respond to support requests.
What friends can see
Renas is built around social habit consistency. Friends may see profile information, visible habits, visible streak summaries, friend streak status, selected feed activity, and reactions. Private habits are not intended to appear on friend-facing surfaces. If you make a visible habit private, Renas is designed to hide existing feed activity for that habit from friends.
Service providers
Renas uses Supabase for app authentication and app data. Renas uses Firebase for analytics and crash reporting when configured. These providers process information on our behalf to help us deliver, secure, and improve the app.
Notifications
Renas may offer local daily reminders. Local reminders are scheduled on your device after you grant permission and can be changed or disabled in app settings or system notification settings. Social push notifications are not part of the first MVP.
Data retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to operate Renas, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve the service. To request account deletion, email joinrenas@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account and include your username.
Children
Renas is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to Renas, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Changes
We may update this policy as Renas changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
